Week in the Life 2019 | Friday

Morning Stories |
Woke up to Holden eating avocado toast. Love it. Coda tried to stay at home again, ummmm, yeah, no. Zach dropped him off on his way to work. Holden and Ollie rode bikes, of course.
When everyone was gone, I spent the morning blogging and processing photos from the week while watching some HGTV.
Afternoon Stories |
Started feeling queasy by 11. UGH. Took a shower, laid down, still queasy. Decided to make some lunch - chicken, rice, and avocado toast. Started feeling a little better. But, just stayed on the couch relaxing and found a movie (Monster in Law) to watch on TV.
Ollie gets home from school and tries to play Xbox so I give him a list of chores to do. I don't think he did any of them. Holden finally gets home and goes to play with Kota.
I had to go get my chemo shots. Boo. I hate this. My poor belly is so tender and it looks like I was attached by a swarm of bees.

I got home a little before 5 and Zach went to get Holden from the neighbors. The boys ate the rest of the chicken and rice from my lunch. We let Coda and Ollie stay home and watch shows and play Xbox (Fortnite) while we took Holden to all of his sport practices. First stop, lacrosse practice at 5:30pm. Zach and I did a cookie run (Crumbl cookies are the best) and stopped at Hobby Lobby before picking him up. We grabbed Joe and Holden from lacrosse early at 6:30pm and took them to baseball practice, all the way across town. Dropped them off and ran to Wal-Mart to grab a birthday present for Holden's party tomorrow. We found Fortnite Super Soakers and had to Face Time Coda and Ollie to see which one we should get. Of course, they instantly had an opinion based on Fortnite.
We got home and I was pretty tired, so I went to bed at the same time as the boys. Zach stayed up and worked and had to make a late night grocery store run to get a drop pan for the brisket before throwing it on the Traeger. Brisket tomorrow. YUM!
